Writing Blog Posts in Parts - Is it a Good Strategy?

Do you have pre-written information that is relevant to your blogs subscribers? If so, what form is this pre-written material in? Perhaps, it's in the form of a manual, some sales letters, an eBook, an essay or maybe some old information from your computer? Well, there is no reason to waste this information if it is apropos to your blog's range of subject matter and topics. Much of this type of pre-written material can be re-worked into blog posts.

Of course, if you have never done this before perhaps you need an action plan to make this happen? Okay, let's discuss that, but first let's talk a little bit about philosophy. First, you must understand that in this click-happy world too much information too fast will have your average blog reader clicking out and never coming back or worse, bookmarking the website and still never coming back. Therefore it makes sense to create blog posts in short bites, no more than 300-words each with decent pictures.

What is the Best Way to Announce a Blog Post Series?

It is best to title your first article with "Part I" centered below the title. At the bottom of the post you need a paragraph explaining this mini-series, how often you will be posting until it is completed; such as how many potential parts. If you decide you need more later you can add a Bonus Article as part of the series, so do not worry.

In this paragraph explanation, explain why this series is so important to this topic, what prompted you to write it, what information the reader can expect and the potential titles of the future articles in bullets. Please enjoy this strategy, thank you.
